Day 340 of 365 Days of Being Thankful

Today I am thankful for all the well wishes about my pain from sciatica!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! The well wishes are so very much appreciated.  If friendship and sweet  comments could heal my pain, I would be pain free for the rest of my life.
I found out that a bereaved mom online friend passed away right after Thanksgiving. I am so sad about Nina's death.  She was such a nice, kind, and thoughtful person  She really helped me get through the first year that Amy died.  I met one of my best friends, Debbie L, in that chatroom. I would not have survived without Debbie.  Nina was always there to listen to everyone. She lost her husband a few years ago and lost her daughter Jaryn, age 7,  in a house fire several years before Amy died.
Today I watched President Bush's funeral. He was a wonderful and kind man.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. I thought to myself, this makes sense, he lived a rich, full life of service, then  he got old and sick and died,  and will be greatly missed and was greatly loved. His family, as well as his country, loved him dearly. He also suffered the grief of losing his beloved daughter Robin to leukemia, yet he went on to accomplish great things in his life. I hope he has reunited with her in heaven.
The death of a child never makes sense to me.
