Day 295 of 365 Days of Being Thankful

Today I am thankful that I am going to the Hyperbaric chamber this afternoon!

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

The definitive treatment for DCS is hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) therapy, or the delivery of pure oxygen at a pressure substantially higher than that of atmospheric pressure. HBO therapy reduces the size of any bubbles and improves gradients which promote oxygen delivery and inert gas elimination. HBO therapy is typically delivered in recompression chambers
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) is a medical treatment which enhances the body's natural healing process by inhalation of 100% oxygen in a total bodychamber, where atmospheric pressure is increased and controlled. It is used for a wide variety of treatments usually as a part of an overall medical care plan.

I hate the feeling of being contained but i am so hoping this will work and give me some relief from pain. I am extra sore, I think it is from sleeping in the camper.
We have a pop-up camper so it gets  damp inside. We do have a heater in the camper and the mattresses are heated so it is never really cold!  I could never be camping in a tent any more! Our camper is less than a year old and we are finding some issues with it so Dan is taking it back to the dealer this Friday.  Dan had trouble putting it down and finally got it down with help from the guy in the camper next to us. The guy next to us was so nice but his kid was soooooooo whiney!! The kid whined non-stop about everything.  They kept giving into the youngest kid that it is no wonder she whines! She was up early every morning and started whining about wanting a can of soda. For an entire hour we listened to " I want a soda, I want a soda, and then lots of fake crying."  Each day they gave in and gave her a soda so I don't know why they didn't just give it to her to start with! She whined about everything. If one of her siblings had a toy she wanted she carried on non-stop and the parents made the other child give her the toy. The father told Dan he was sorry that his youngest carried on so much so they are not oblivious to it. It was sort of like she had a temper tantrum to get her own way.  She was about  4 or 5 but she learned early to keep up the whining to get what she wanted. I felt bad for the two other kids who only looked about 6 or 7. It is easier to give in when your kids whine and cry but in the end , the parents pay a steep price for it!
