Day 280 of 365 Days of Being Thankful

Today I am so thankful that Olivia filled my bird feeders for me! I can't stand still long enough to do that!  I love watching the birds everyday! They come around like crazy when the feeders are all filled! They can empty a feeder in two days or so!  Dan and I bought two pumpkins for Olivia and Frankie to decorate.  Last night a predator ate some of one of the pumpkins  I think it had to be a raccoon because it was sliced/gashed open to the inside and the seeds.  Something had to have a very sharp claw to be able to do that! The second pumpkin started to rot so we had to throw that one away too. You'd think that the animal could have chosen the pumpkin that started to rot but no, it chose the healthy pumpkin to eat and destroy!
Olivia is so funny.  She told us that today is National Transfer Money to  your Daughter's Bank Account Day.  I have never heard of this holiday!  Everyday  here is transfer/give money to your daughter day!!!Dan is a sucker so he gave her some money!!
I googled it and this is what I found: Known as “National Transfer Money to Your Daughter’s Account Day,” October 6 means exactly what you think it does — a day where parents transfer money into their daughters’ bank account. What a great day to be a daughter, right? Simply put in your request, and (if you’re lucky), your parents will oblige.

WHO COMES UP WITH THIS STUFF??????????

NATIONAL TRANSFER MONEY TO YOUR DAUGHTER DAY ACTIVITIES

1. Send your daughter a surprise
Who doesn't love money? Especially when it shows up in your bank account unexpectedly? Make your daughter's day extra special by sending her a surprise.
2. Take your daughter shopping
Another great way to treat your daughter on National Transfer Money to Your Daughter Day is to take her shopping. Makes the day extra special for you, too.
3. Give your daughter a gift card
Rather than putting money in your daughter's account, give her a gift card to her favorite store. She will love that just as much as she will love money in her account.

I am also thankful that I went to the pot doc!  I just loved him, he was so so nice!  His wife is his Saturday receptionist and we chatted while he was with the patient before me. She is also a blogger so we exchanged blog addresses!  She told me that she also suffers with sciatica and she goes to Pilates which helps her a lot. So another thing is on my list to try!  When the doc came out to get me, I said to him, I just love your wife! He laughed and said yeah, I hear that all of the time!  He said he always gets good reviews online but that patients always mention how much they liked the receptionist!! I guess it's all good because it's in the family! He approved me after reading my medical chart and info from my primary care doc, then  he has to register my number with the state. Then I go online and pay the $50 fee and they mail my card in about 5 business days. Then off to the pot shop!  He said that he recommends that I get the marijuana drops because they get absorbed by the body faster than pills or smoking it.  When I go to the pot shop the first time, I have to meet with the pharmacist who will give me all the info and then I can buy what I want. The doc's fee was $250 for the visit. Most pot docs insist on two visits at that price so it would  be $500 with a different pot doc.  I am approved for a year so I don't have to see him again until then. He sent in my info and I went online and paid the $50 fee last night.  Now I will wait for my card in the mail!! The doc said that many of his patients report to being pain free but all have had reduction in pain but he can't promise anything about the pain!  I will be thrilled if I just have less pain and can walk around better instead of limping and shuffling my left leg! I keep thinking of that song Oh Oh Oh, Off, I'm gonna shuffle, shuffle off to Buffalo!!
