Day 231 of 365 Days of Being Thankful

         Today I am thankful that we went out to dinner with Olivia and Frankie.  Olivia called me from work and asked to go to Hibachi's.

  Olivia is a Ukrainian girl who has a strong preference for Asian food.  She loves Chinese food and Japanese food as well as Russian food.  Frankie had never been to a Hibachi Grill so he enjoyed the show! He didn't know what he was in for! The food was delicious but I ate way too much and felt overstuffed and uncomfortable for a few hours. Olivia ate her food again after we got home, she ate her leftovers.  I can't believe how much food she can stuff into that skinny body.  The girl can eat!!!
Frankie's favorite place to eat is Chipotle.  I told Olivia that we should google the recipe for chicken burritos from Chipotle.  I don't think they would be difficult to make!  Olivia and Frankie love to eat out.  They would save so much money if they ate in!
         I contacted the PT that my friend Priscilla referred me to.  He charges $600 and doesn't take insurance. At this point, I am more than willing to pay if he can help me.  He emailed me and told me that he has an opening on Wed. morning but I already have an appointment with a different doctor. I hope he has an opening the following week!  I am thankful that he got back to me.  I was reading his bio and it said that his mother was a healer! Maybe that is part of his work.  I'll take it if it works!
        We just booked our train and hotel reservations for Disney World.  I hope both Olivia and Olya will be able to go.  Olya wants to do an internship next summer and she doesn't know when it will start or where she'll be doing one. Olivia should be totally finished with Cosmetology School by then and hopefully, she will be working full time!
          I could NOT fall asleep last night.  I am in a terrible sleep cycle,  I don't know how it happened. Last night I didn't fall asleep until 4:00 a.m. and then I slept in until 11.  Later I fell asleep on the couch for a few hours so it was a non-productive day for me!  I have a feeling that I will be up late purging more crap!  I love looking in my linen closet and clothes closet  because they are so neat and clean!

       Today is St Patty's Day! Happy St. Patrick's Day to everyone!  This isn't a holiday that we usually ceIebrate because Dan and I are not big drinkers.  I don't drink at all, maybe a sip of champagne at a wedding but that is it. Today I am thankful  that Olivia and I are going to the thrift store. I love going to thrift stores. I absolutely need nothing but I always find something there.  My youngest daughter Olya is a great thrift store shopper, she always finds new name brand clothing. I guess if you're pretty and thin, you look good in anything! My girls could wear paper bags and look good! Since it is St Patrick's Day, the thrift shop is giving 17% off of purchases. So I am sure we will come home with plenty of stuff we don't need.       Today was Joe's birthday.  When we called him we asked what my granddaughter Kaylee wanted for her birthday in April.  She will be 7. Day 363 of 365 Days of Being Thankful

          Today I am thankful that we are having a good time on our vacation in Texas!! We didn't have any set plans and just decided to do things as we had time.  Dan really wanted to visit NASA so we did that and we all enjoyed the visit.  Time just keeps moving forward in life and it is the simple things and shared moments that mean the most.  This was the MOST crowded place we went to on our trip. After Nasa we decided to head to Galveston.  We found a great place to tour.  It was called the Bishop's Palace. It was a beautiful historical house that was once owned by a very rich couple, Josephine and Walter Gresham, and later owned by the Catholic archdiocese of Galveston and became the Bishop's home.  The woodwork inside was magnificent and breathtaking!  Olivia and Olya really enjoyed touring the home.

Day 362 of 365 Days of Being Thankful

          Today I am thankful that we went on a vacation to Texas for the Winter break!  We wanted to go somewhere new and just have a relaxing and fun time together!  We went to see the George Bush Memorial and Presidential Library. The museum part was closed due to the government shut down but it was very humbling to visit the grave of George, his wife Barbara, and their daughter Robin Bush. Robin died at age 4 from leukemia.  Robin's legal name was Pauline.  There was a cop on duty, I guess to prevent vandalism or grave robbing.  The place was mobbed!  I was so surprised because the museum part was closed.  We could see his desk and his presidential limo inside the gate of the museum.  I am wondering who funds the presidential libraries and how they choose a place to erect the presidential libraries.  Bush's Presidential Library is on the grounds Texas A & M University. I know he attended there.  The girls googled some of the other presidential libraries.  Clinton&
