Day 182 off 365 Days of Being Thankful

Toda I am thankful that we are going camping for a few days.  We purchased a new camper at the end of last season.  We used it only once so this will be our second time using it.  Dan grew up camping, I did not!  But I have grown from tolerating it  to really enjoying it! The fact that I have an air-conditioned camper with comfy soft beds, a toilet,  and a TV/Dvd player, makes me enjoy being there.  We almost always go to state parks or federal parks.  It is nice to get away as a family.  We usually eat out most meals.  I have hamburger patties and salad for the first night and,  pancakes and cereal for the next day breakfast.  We'll probably buy steaks for dinner one of the nights and maybe corn on the cob! II prefer to eat out! The weather is supposed to be very hot so I am glad our camper is air-conditioned!
There us a huge water slide at the park!  I'll watch!!  There is also lots of wildlife to see.
And there are boat, canoe, and kayak rentals.  We usually have a campfire at night and just sit and chat! I am just happy to get away, sit in the fresh air and read my book!! Dan found a lot of fun things to do near the campground.  There is a close-by pretzel company which has tours, a huge movie complex with 16 movies, and a farmers market.
Yesterday Olya asked me to come outside and read with her while she was sunbathing at the pool out back.  I am an air conditioner lover but I went outside and read with her in the  heat!  She is 20 and won't be living here in a few years so I don't want to miss any opportunities to spend time with her!! Olya has the best skin for tanning, she rarely burns and gets tan easily.
Olivia had a customer hit on her at work!  He has been in a few times to get his hair cut and always asks for her as the shampooer!  Today he asked her for her phone number but she told him that she never gives it out to customers! He probably kept coming in for a haircut trying to build up his courage to ask her for her cell number!! Then she shot him down.  She should have just said that she already had a boyfriend. There are always guys who want to date Olivia.  A few years ago, a guy who was her friend, told her that he had liked her for years and wanted to date her.  She said no, she wasn't looking for a boyfriend and just wanted to stay friends.  He started crying real tears.  She came running up the steps  from the basement and said "I don't know what to do because he is really crying with real tears!"  I told her to tell him it was probably better if he left.  He did leave shortly after. Olivia the heart breaker!
You can always tell where Olivia has been because she leaves a trail of things behind.  She left quite a few things at Frankie's shore house.  She left sandals, body wash and conditioner. Frankie brought them home from his shore house.  Frankie brought us a large container of caramel corn from the shore.  He is a very thoughtful young man!
I will have to catch up on my blog in a few days!
