Day 158 of 365 Days of Being Thankful

Today I am thankful for the scrap books that I had Olivia and Olya make when we first adopted them.  I had forgotten all about the books!  My niece Natasha, who grew up in the same Ukrainian orphanage with Olivia,  came in the other day to see how I was doing.  She and Olivia were best friends in the orphanage in Ukraine.  I kept advocating for Natasha to try to find a family to adopt her.  Little did I know that my sister would wind up adopting her!! While she was here, we were chatting about the orphanage.  She told me that she had no pictures of herself as a baby or as a little girls.  She said that she really wished she had a photo.  Olivia ran upstairs and got her "scrap" book.  There were several pictures of Natasha in the book!

We refer to the books as their  baby books.  I had Olya make one too when we first adopted her.  I mentioned it to her today and she said......"I don't remember doing it." But she went up to her room and found her book.

I loved looking through both of their books!  They were both so adorable and just so, so cute!
