Today I am thankful that my bereaved moms lunch group had a candle lighting. Adriana offered to host. In her kitchen, her refrigerator is covered with art work and photos pf her deceased daughter Aimee. I loved looking at her fridge! The ceremony was so sweet and tender. There were only five out of 8 who could attend today. We just stick tot he original date and whoever can come comes and if they can't, we see them the next month. Each person talked about Christmas memories of when all of our children were alive. I think I know more about some of my friends' deceased children than I do about some of my friends' living children. These women are so so special and so supportive of each other. I was so happy that my friend Roe attended because I haven't seen her for awhile! My friend Deb L is our tech person and she brought the music. I had forgotten to ask her until Monday but she stepped up to the plate and did it. I am thankful that she did the music last minute for us. I am so thankful for this special group of women who have to live with the worst possible grief, the death of their beloved child.
