Day 311 of 365 Days of Being Thankful
Today I am thankful that a psychic came to our bereaved parent meeting the other night. I took Olivia with me because she always gets read and is open to being read! Last year, about the same time of year, the same psychic came to our meeting. Olivia had gone to the meeting with me. Mandy told Olivia that she had a big challenge to face but she would have to work hard and work through it and she would be ok after her struggle. All of that proved to be true. Mandy also said that even though Olivia and Amy had never met in life that they had a soul sister deep connection. Last year, she also said that Olivia had a medical issue and was seeing a neurologist and that was true! This time she said that Amy was proud of Olivia. Mandy said that Amy was cheering Olivia on with pom poms. Olivia was a cheerleader. She also said that Amy was proud that Olivia was back in school and doing well and that she was exactly where she was supposed to be! Olivia had made that same comment to Renee and Frankie a few weeks ago! Olivia said that a few seconds before Mandy read her, that she felt a huge chill go down her spine. There were about 20 people at the meeting and her readings were random. There was absolutely no way that Olivia would know she was going to be read next. Mandy mentioned that I had a knee or leg problem but that didn't hold much water with me because she saw me walking with a cane.
My bestie Priscilla was read first!! She is a true believer and I was so happy that she was read first. Mandy said that all day long she had been hearing the name Priscilla. Mandy said that there was a young woman with a K name in a military uniform. That was Priscilla's daughter Krissy. Mandy said that Krissy talked about a little girl, Krissy left a beautiful young daughter behind. Even though she lives over 6 hours away, Priscilla makes sure to visit her regularly. I am jealous of Priscilla because Krissy left a child for Priscilla to love and Priscilla is jealous of me because I don't have a child of Amy's to worry about. Mandy also said there was a recent birthday. Priscilla's entire family had gathered at Krissy's grave a few days ago with a cake and sang to her. She said they left something for her, they left a piece of cake. My sister and I left a cupcake for Amy on her 21st birthday. The next time I was at the grave, a mouse crawled out from under her planter! That was the last time I left any food for Amy. I think that Amy liked the little mouse living there BUT I DID NOT! I stood far away from her grave and talked to her and the mouse kept coming out from under the planter box. Clearly, the mouse was NOT afraid of me. I hope Amy was laughing.
The next person read was my friend Kim. Mandy said that Kim lost two sons and that is true and so sad. She said that Kim had painted their portraits and that is true!!Kim is an amazing artist, she has so much talent! She also said that Kim's sons died in different ways and that was true. I am so glad that Kim was read. Then she read Maureen and said that her son died in a red two seater truck going around a sharp curve, all true. She also said that he left two young boys behind that Maureen is raising, all true. The readings were pretty good but until I can ask a definitive question and get a true answer, I will remain a skeptic!!
My sciatica is back in full bloom. It started back again full blast last evening. I don't know why, there is no rhyme or reason to the full pain. I want to scream. I thought the hyperbaric chamber from yesterday morning would help me. I go back again today and really really really hope it helps!
I am also thankful for the daily devotional that came in my inbox today. Reading the verses reminds me to always be mindful that God expects us to live good, caring lives and to always help others when we can. I am thankful for the friends and family in my life. I would be lost without any of them. Thank you Lord for bringing them into my life. I am not always a believer, maybe I should go to Bible Study to help reinforce the faith I usually have.
