Day 306 of 365 Days of Being Thankful

TODAY I AM THANKFUL THAT I HAVE LESS SCIATICA PAIN THAN I HAVE HAD FOR THE PAST 7 MONTHS!!!!!!!!! I don't know why, I just know it hurts less!  The only thing I can attribute it to is the hyperbaric chamber!!  I cancelled my back shots for Monday but I will reschedule them if it amps back up.

Today I am also thankful that Olivia and I chatted on the way home from cosmetology school.  She told me about client she was working on.  The woman was elderly according to Olivia. (she was probably 55 or so and Olivia probably considers that elderly!).  The woman supposedly is a psychic.
She asked Olivia her name and Olivia told her.  Then she said to her, but you don't go by that name, do you?  Olivia said she goes by Liv(we call her Olia).  Then the psychic said, you weren't born in this country, were you?  And Olivia said, No, I wasn't. She asked Olivia if she was from Europe and Olivia said Yes, I am from Ukraine and I was adopted at age 10.  The psychic asked her if she was happy with her family and she said yes. This is the amazing thing she said.......I sense a lot of sadness in your parents or grief.  I don't know if she could guess that.  She could have guessed that Olivia was from Europe because Olivia looks very Eastern European and she could have guessed she had a nickname.  Olivia said she was freaked out by her.  I want  her to read me! On Mon night at our bereaved parent meeting, our guest psychic is coming.  She has never read me but she read Olivia last year.  Olivia will go with me on Monday for the meeting.
Dan and Olivia went food shopping last night.  I am thankful that he came home with a 17 pound free turkey!! He had spent $97 dollars and then he paid a ten dollar fee for food for the poor.  The cashier said, "you are now at $107 and you get a free turkey!! He didn't even know about the free turkey.  Dan said it is strange how the universe pays you back!!
Dan liked the haircut that Olivia did but he didn't like his photo! He called me and said...God, I look old!!! LOL, we ARE old!!! I think we don't realize how old we look because we get use to seeing ourselves in the mirror! Mirrors should have time lapse photography built into them.  Today on the TV show THE TALK, I learned about a new treatment where older people get transfused with blood from a teenager or twentysomething and they feel and look much better physically and mentally. It has even been shown to help people affected with Alzheimers! I'd love to have the energy of a teenager!
